Booking Cancellation Request
How cancellation requests work, when they are allowed, and how package amount vs Secure Booking Fee is treated.
Overview
Secure bookings now use a booking cancellation request flow. Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 30 days before the event date. If the booking is within the last 14 days before the event, cancellation is not allowed because the vendor calendar is already locked.
The Secure Booking Fee is non-refundable. Package amount handling depends on booking status, timing, vendor confirmation, and any support review needed.
Details
- Open the affected booking and select Booking Cancellation Request.
- Choose the reason, add any helpful detail, and submit before the 30-day cutoff.
- The request notifies the vendor and admin for follow-up and policy handling.
Important Notes
- Secure Booking Fee remains non-refundable in all cancellation stages.
- If vendor confirmation already happened, package amount handling follows the applicable cancellation and support policy.
- Always include relevant timeline timestamps when asking for cancellation review.
