Secure Booking Fee for Customers
What customers pay at checkout and how the capped Secure Booking Fee is calculated per vendor.
Overview
Customers pay each vendor's secured amount, which is the package or product subtotal plus that vendor's Secure Booking Fee. The fee is calculated separately for each vendor in the cart based on that vendor subtotal: 1.8%, capped at RM50 per vendor, with no minimum fee. If your cart has multiple vendors, each vendor has its own fee calculation and the receipt should show the breakdown clearly per vendor.
Formula per vendor: secure_booking_fee = min(vendor subtotal x 1.8%, RM50). Total Secure Booking Fee = sum of all vendor fees.
Details
- Single vendor: Vendor A subtotal RM1,000 -> RM18 fee -> Vendor A secured total RM1,018.
- Multi vendor: Vendor A subtotal RM800 -> RM14.40 fee; Vendor B subtotal RM1,200 -> RM21.60 fee; total fee RM36.00; combined secured total RM2,036.00.
- Cap case: Vendor A subtotal RM4,000 -> RM72 capped to RM50; Vendor B subtotal RM2,000 -> RM36; total Secure Booking Fee RM86.
- The RM50 cap applies per vendor, not once at whole-cart level.
Important Notes
- Platform Service Charge is not charged to customers.
- Vendor access is included by default and is not charged to customers.
- Invitation publish fee is separate and only applies to the invitation builder.
